Our approach to a project’s sustainability comes very early in its design phase, it will shape and direct the areas’ programming and the project’s general aesthetics.
Ieoh Ming Pei’s original work’s essence lies in the purity of its drawing, in the intensity of his lines, but also in the quality of the materials used in construction, which have withstood more than two decades.
Our approach to the environmental aspect is simple :
- Preserve and enhance the original elements such as the stone floor of the common areas, the existing ironworks, etc..
- A fine selection of light and luminous certified materials, while working on amplifying the natural light’s contribution in the different spaces
- Targeting an acoustic performance that meets the requirements of the office world’s new standards.
- A strategic choice of equipment to minimize energy costs (lighting fixtures, faucets, air conditioning systems, etc.).
